Iranians protest with chants of 'Death to the dictator' after Mahsa Amini's death

Protests broke out in Iran after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini who died after being in detention by morality police enforcing strict hijab rules. 

Women removed their hijab to protest against the death of the young woman in detention. As security forces used tear gas to disperse protesters, the women chanted "death to the dictator!"

Protests also broke out at Amini's funeral in her hometown Saqez in the Kurdistan region. Police repressed the demonstrations in Saqez.
