Raised from the Dead by William Branham
Researchers have identified yet another stage persona used by William Branham. Using the alias "William E. Branham" in 1939, William Branham claims to have raised a Pennsylvania Railroad worker from the dead. 1939 is seven years prior to Branham's claim to have been given the "gift of divine healing" by an "angel" in May of 1946, and during the time that his 1945 stage persona described in the pamphlet "I Was Not Disobedient to the Heavenly Vision" claimed to have the "gift taken away".

According to reports in Canada, while William Branham's healing power was visibly failing, he claimed to have raised a man from the dead back home in Jeffersonville, and that three physicians confirmed the death. As it turned out, however, not a single physician was present. William Branham himself pronounced the death and resurrection to life.
