EWS quota: 103rd amendment doesn’t touch 50% reservations available to backward classes: AG tells SC

In pleas challenging the validity of the 103rd Constitutional amendment providing for 10% quota to economically weaker sections, the Attorney General of India today told the Supreme Court that the amendment does not touch the 50% reservations available to socially and educationally backward classes including SC, ST and OBC.
