Scott McTominay is Caught Mouthing Cristiano Ronaldo' Siuu Celebration to Himself after Man Utd Goal

SCOTT McTOMINAY celebrated Cristiano Ronaldo's first goal of the season by seeming to whisper "siuu" in his ear.

The 37-year-old Portuguese superstar fired from the penalty spot in Manchester United's 2-0 Europa League win over FC Sheriff.

After placing the ball in the middle, Ronaldo ran to the corner to do his signature spin jump.

He was later harassed by his Red Devils teammates, including midfielder McTominay.

And video replays showed the fit Scotsman appearing to make the "siuu" sound at the gathering, echoing thousands of Ronaldo fans on the ground.

Some fans on Twitter loved McTominay's support.

One said: "Best thing he's done in four years."

Another wrote: "Epic."

But others found the whole thing "embarrassing" and "embarrassing".

A third commented: "Grow up."

And one end user replied: "A bit sad, isn't it?"

However, the rest of McTominay's display drew much praise as he continues to enjoy a hot run under Erik ten Hag keeping Casemiro out of the team for £70m in the summer.

Meanwhile, some desperate Ronaldo fans also pointed out that the goal ensured that his hero surpassed Lionel Messi's all-time tally in the Europa League.

His penalty was his first goal in UEFA B-list club competition.

But that's one more than Messi, who has zero goals in zero appearances.
