Hours after bringing the Congress to its knees in Goa, the state’s former Chief Minister, Digambar Kamat, said that all was done with divine consent. His remarks came when journalists reminded him about the pledge of loyalty taken by Congress candidates at a temple and a church before the Goa Assembly polls earlier this year.
