Founder and Chairman of Vedanta Resources Anil Agarwal announced that the Vedanta-Foxconn joint venture had selected Gujarat for setting up its display fabrication and semiconductor facility. Soon Vedanta-Foxconn semiconductor plant will be set up in Gujarat | దేశీయ దిగ్గజం వేదాంత కంపెనీ ఫాక్స్‌కాన్‌తో కలిసి కొత్త సెమీకండక్టర్ ప్లాంట్‌ను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని నిర్ణయించింది.రెండు కంపెనీలు సంయుక్తంగా తయారీ పరిశ్రమను గుజరాత్‌లో ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు ప్రకటించాయి.ప్రస్తుతం ల్యాప్‌టాప్ ధర రూ.లక్షగా ఉందని, అయితే దేశంలో గ్లాస్ అండ్ సెమీకండక్టర్ చిప్స్ అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత, దాని ధర రూ.40,000 లేదా అంతకంటే తక్కువకు చేరుకుంటుందని అనిల్ అగర్వాల్ అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.
