Filipino pole vaulter king Ernesto John “EJ” Obiena was welcomed by Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) officials led by Chairman Noli Eala on Thursday, September 15, 2022. EJ captured his second consecutive gold medal in men's pole vault after topping the St. Wendel City in Germany. He also reset the meet record of 5.71 meters by clearing 5.86 meters.
