Trinamool and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) blamed each other for disrupting peace in the state over BJP protest march to the state secretariat, to demonstrate against the corrupt practices of the ruling Trinamool Congress in the state. Several BJP leaders sustained injuries and many police officers have been hurt in the clashes.
Meanwhile, JDS President HD Kumaraswamy has written a letter to party MLAs and workers to hold a protest in the state against Hindi Diwas on September 14.
