Ismail Sabri obtains court order for Lokman to take down FB post

The Kuala Lumpur High Court has issued an order for former Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam to take down his Facebook post regarding Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Ismail Sabri’s counsel Ragunath Kesavan confirmed with Malaysiakini that judicial commissioner Roz Mawar Rozain allowed the ex-parte injunction application for the removal of the online social media posting dated Aug 22.
The injunction was sought to maintain the status quo between plaintiff Ismail Sabri and defendant Lokman pending disposal of the latter’s main defamation civil action against his fellow party member.
The main civil action is over the Aug 22 posting that allegedly contained allegations over Ismail Sabri purportedly meeting former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
