Mestar Chutney is a very unique dish made from Mesta, this is also know as Hibiscus Sabdariffa which is commonly known as Roselle.Mesta is a kind of hibiscus, which has a tangy and sour flavour in taste.This dish is famous in West Bengal and Bangladesh.This chutney is also called "tukai foler achar" in bengali which goes very well with khichdi and is consumed during saraswati puja.This is a very unique and uncommon dish having it's own taste and essence.Hope you like this preparation and cook the same at your home during this festive season of vasant panchami.
