Airbags deployed in front seats saves Cyrus Mistry's co-passengers

Following the car crash that led to the death of Tata group chairman, Cyrus Mistry, new information from the site revealed that the airbags of the passengers riding in the front seat of the vehicle were deployed at the moment of impact.

This, along with their seat belts which were secured in place could have helped them survive the crash where Cyrus and another individual, Jahangir Dinshaw Pandole were killed.

Cyrus and Jehangir were seated in the backseat of the car when the accident took place. The other two passengers, Anahita Pandole and Darius Pandole, suffered injuries and were taken to a hospital.
