____ 1. SYNOPSIS ____
Denji has a simple dream: to live a happy and peaceful life, spending time with a girl he loves. This is far from reality, however, as Denji is forced by the yakuza to kill devils in order to pay off his crippling debts. Using his devil Pochita as a weapon, he is ready for anything for a little money.
Unfortunately, he has outlived his usefulness and is murdered by a devil in contract with the yakuza. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Pochita fuses with Denji's corpse and grants him the powers of a chainsaw devil. Now able to turn parts of his body into chainsaws, a resurrected Denji uses his new abilities to dispatch enemies quickly and brutally. Catching the attention of official Devil Hunters who arrive on the scene, he is offered a job at the Public Security Bureau as one of them. Now, with the wherewithal to take on even the toughest foes, Denji will stop at nothing to fulfill his simple teenage dreams.
