India reported 6,809 fresh Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, according to the data released by the Health Ministry. With this the total number of covid cases in the country jumped to 4,44,56,535. The total number of covid-related casualties climbed sharply to 5,27,991, with 26 new deaths reported in 24 hours which includes five deaths reconciled by Kerala although these were less than those reported a day before.
