At Atelier Caradant, we believe that each person is unique, and that your watch should reflect this reality. We therefore offer to be an actor in the design and manufacturing stages.
To enable this approach, we use an unconventional material in watchmaking to cover the dial and the oscillating weight: paper.
Applied on a classic bare brass dial, it offers 0.4 mm of available height to work on one or more layers of paper, treated using traditional techniques (airbrush, watercolour, etc.), or innovative (laser cutting and engraving). .

Several approaches are possible to choose your watch:
- Signature watches: this is already finished creations, designed to the end according to our inspirations and available for direct sale (in stock). It will be possible to choose your strap and add an engraving a caseback insert.
- Semi-bespoke: 3 universes are offered at the beginning of this adventure to guide you (many others will come later). These are aesthetic bases and on which you can choose one or more colors, the hands, the strap, the patterns and the engravings.
- Bespoke: you are tutored and advised in your watchmaking project. It is a service on quotation.

At the start, there will be 3 universes that we have imagined to allow you to project yourself into the realization of a watch that best describes you, especially in the "Semi-Bespoke" approach.
Personalization elements

With the exception of Tailor-made watches, the basic retail price of each watch will remain the same for all models: €495, regardless of the choices made.
It is possible to customize the watches on the dial, weight and case back:
- Color (mixes made in the workshop): plain, smoked effect, matte, pearly…
- Design: patterns, nude, 3D effect…
- Engravings: laser.
For the oscillating weight, the same color as chosen on the dial will be offered, with:
- A matching pattern decoration in the "Patterns" universe
- A reminder of geolocation in the "CityMaps" universe
- A reminder of the positions of the planets (angles) and the date chosen in the "Solar6" universe.
You can complete this customization by choosing the color of the hands (only one model, brushed silver or gold for the moment), and the strap model.
