Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday commissioned INS Vikrant, India's first indigenously designed and built aircraft carrier.
PM Modi also unveiled the Indian Navy's new ensign at the event. The new ensign does not feature the St George’s Cross and incorporates the royal seal of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
