Labour: Business owners ‘terrified’ they won’t survive

Shadow cabinet minister Steve Reed says owners of shops, pubs and restaurants in his constituency are “terrified they won’t be able to survive the winter”. The Labour MP said that the party has come up with a plan to “increase the digital services tax on the likes of Amazon so that we can raise the threshold for small businesses at which they start to pay business rates.” Report by Jonesia.
