COVID isolation period could be shortened to 5 days

Mandatory isolation periods for COVID-19 could be cut from seven days down to five, when national cabinet meets in Sydney this afternoon. State and territory leaders are also expected to press the Prime Minister to further extend payments for those forced to isolate, beyond the end of the month.
