Vulcan 315 Hot Water System Service

Hey guys, Matt from Gold Coast Plumbing Experts here. We're in Harlem Park today doing a hot water system service on this Vulcan 315. We're going to be changing the anode on the top, the safety valve and the tempering valve. I'm going to turn the water off, disconnect, strip out all the fittings,
replace them and recommission.
Hey, guys, we're just doing an anode replacement for this customer. And as you can see, it's completely corroded. Still steaming as it gets really hot. But it's got to show you how important it
is to change your anodes on your water systems.
As you can see, this is a new one. You can see the difference between a new one and one that's working. They're all supposed to corrode, you should be changing them every five years. So give us a call if you need a hot water service.
There we go, guys. That completes a hot water service on the Vulcan 315. Got a new hot water tempering valve there. We have a new tempering valve with some lagging on the hot. We have the new anode going in on the top. So that's going to give this hot water another five years of great operation and it's also going to help keep that warranty in place. Thanks for watching.
