Mesmerizing scenic beauty of Yumthang Valley & Zero Point of North Sikkim
Around 6:30AM we started for Yumthang valley(a.k.a valley of flowers) & Zero point from Lachung on 28.10.2021.
The Yumthang Valley or Sikkim Valley of Flowers sanctuary, ia a nature sanctuary with river, hot springs, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows surrounded by the Himalayan mountains in the North Sikkim district of Sikkim state in India at an altitude of12,000ft.
Located at an altitude of 15,000ft., the place where Zero Point lies is known as Yume Samdong. This is the last point of the Yumthang Valley. The road will end here, that's why it's called as Zero Point. It is about 23KM from Yumthang Valley.
