WNBA star Brittney Griner was recently sentenced to 9 years in Russian prison on drug charges.
She was arrested at a Russian airport in February for having cannabis vape cartridges in her luggage. .
'ET' reports that last week, Rodman told NBC News
that he "got permission to go to Russia to help that girl.".
