Mack Rutherford, a 17-year-old British-Belgian pilot, has become the youngest person to fly solo around the world. During a five-month journey, Rutherford flew across 30 countries including India, South Korea, the United States and avoided Russian airspace before ending up in Bulgaria. Rutherford’s achievement has earned him a Guinness World Record for youngest person to fly around the world solo and youngest to make the trip in an ultralight aircraft, a bar previously set by his older sister.
