Calls for Tasmania's Ashley youth prison to be demolished, after former detainee calls out "toxic culture"

A former detainee at Tasmania's Ashley Youth Detention Centre has called on the centre to be demolished. The man, known only as 'Fred', told commissioners the toxic culture amongst inmates and staff at the centre is so ingrained it's beyond repair.
