Protests continued in the Old city area of Hyderabad overnight on Tuesday over the alleged derogatory comments on Prophet Mohammad by BJP leader T Raja Singh. Singh was arrested on Tuesday but was later released on bail the same day. Raja Singh has been suspended by the BJP and has been given 10 days time to explain why he should not be expelled from the party. Chants of 'Sar tan se juda' dominated the streets of Hyderabad and were condemned by the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Corporator Mustafa Ali Muzaffar as well as AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.
