Lawyer Muhammad Shafee Abdullah has returned to assist Najib Abdul Razak's lew lawyers under Hisyam Teh Poh Teik.

Shafee said he is only there to assist the former prime minister's new legal team in the recusal bid against Chief Justice Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat.

Shafee was later seen leaving the Federal Court after apex court denied his bid to adjourn the hearing to tomorrow so he could prepare oral submissions to support Najib's recusal application.
