The Defence of Goch in WW2

Operation Veritable in February of 1945 saw the Allies attack my hometown of Goch in north-western Germany. As a child I would hear the eyewitness stories of the Hitler Youth and other veterans who stood their ground against overwhelming odds. With original war footage and some personal reflections, I share a brief overview of the battle. The Klovekorn family home in the centre of Goch was completely destroyed.
