Two-year-old Riley Pacala was born deaf. Riley is learning American Sign Language and uses cochlear implants to find new ways to express herself. With her bright attitude bringing joy to her family, her uncle Brain Regan and his fiancé Jamie Kehoe knew Riley would be the perfect flower girl for their wedding in New Jersey. As a surprise, the bride’s brother-in-law, officiating the service, learned ASL and practiced for weeks to communicate the couple’s vows to everyone, including Riley. His act of inclusion invoked overwhelming love and set an example about inclusion his family would never forget.
