Meet the woman who insists she'll never post her partner online and says she'd wait four months to share her wedding on social media - so people don’t interfere with her relationship. Sophie Toure, 25, claims she would never post a man on social media again after outside interference put pressure on her past two relationships. She said she would have ‘lost her mind’ if she ever posted her significant other online and would only consider posting them if they got married - four months after the big day. As a teen, Sophie shared everything about her high school sweetheart online and she says it made the break up even harder when she had to take down all of their posts. People she hadn’t spoken to in years were bombarding her for an explanation as to what happened, which Sophie described as 'painful'. Sophie insists 'a private life is a happy life' and says she wouldn’t post her partner online - even if she had been with him for seven years. She added even after tying the knot, she would wait a few months to post any wedding pictures ‘just to make sure’. Sophie, a confidence coach, from New York, US, said: “When I was younger in my first relationship, I posted absolutely everything online. “Everyone was so invested in our relationship because we went to prom together and we were real high school sweethearts. “When I moved to go to college Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Connecticut, US, we broke up so I took down our pictures and I was bombarded with messages." At 21 Sophie had another relationship - and sporadically posted about it online. She claims she would post her boyfriend's hands and arms - but no pictures or videos where you could see his full face or anything that might identify him. She said: "One day I posted a selfie and people managed to track him down and found his Instagram. “I felt so overwhelmed I asked him to make his account private which I know I shouldn’t have done, but I felt the same thing was happening again.” Now Sophie chooses not to share her love life online as she feels people don’t always have the best intentions and could be after her man. "People who matter to me know who I am involved with and I prefer everyone else to not know my business," she said.
