Womb - album Womb 1969

The group should be from Sacramento, California, and were probabily founded in 1967 before heading to San Francisco. The band was looking for their own musical niche, they played a good psych-rock with lots of folk elements , some jazzy hints, and good male/female vocals turning sometimes into soulful shores .
My personal idea is they had assembled enough material to release a double album but choosed to release two single ones in the same year. A good production should have helped them to take the best out of the available material, and package a more accurate and defined product.

Karyl Boddy - vocals, guitar, piano.
Greg Young - guitar.
Roluf Stuart - saxophone, flute.
Christopher Johnson - bas.
Rory Burcher - vocals, congas, percussion.
Roy Brunecker - drums.
