ATAGS: Indigenous gun to fire 21-gun salute on I-Day

When the PM Narendra Modi will hoist the tricolor at the Red Fort, a 21-gun salute will be given. But for the first time after independence, an indigenous howitzer cannon will also salute. This indigenous howitzer cannon has been made by DRDO. This gun made under 'Make in India' is called ATAGS i.e. Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System. The indigenous howitzer cannon has a range of 48 km and for the first time any country has made a cannon with such a long range. Watch this video to know more.
