Gareth Bale Rolls Back The Years | Incredible and Sensational Solo Goal Against Real Salt Lake

Los Angeles FC's victory over Real Salt Lake was jam-packed with action, as they cruised to a 4-1 win in Utah.

The Los Angeles based side were comfortably ahead before moments of magic, and madness, from their established stars Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini in the second half.

The Welshman will steal the plaudits with his sensational solo goal that wrapped up the scoring on the night, while the Italian will be left to think about his wild hand-ball that is taking social media by storm.

Though LAFC were already cruising to victory, Bale saved the best goal until last as he reminded everyone just how good he can be.

The Welshman collects the ball as he bursts into the Salt Lake half, drives forward with two men chasing him and throws in some neat footwork which sees him weave into the box and fire past a helpless Zac MacMath.

It's reminiscent of the sensational solo goals he scored during his spells in England and Spain - such as his Copa Del Rey final winner in 2014 or one of his strikes against Inter Milan back in 2010.

It's his second goal in four matches since making the switch to America, where he seems to be loving life - after his contract with Real Madrid came to an end in May.

And while Bale grabbed the headlines for his exceptional effort, his team-mate Giorgio Chiellini did so for his hilarious hand-ball in the match.

Midway through the second-half, Salt Lake looked like they were going to catch the Italian out as they counter-attacked quickly - but the veteran defender used his game smarts and swatted the ball out the air with his hands.

Similar to striking a volleyball, the 37-year-old jumped up and smacked the ball away with both hands - earning himself a yellow card in the process.

Just a few weeks ago, Bale spoke on how quickly he's adjusted to life in the MLS and how he believes he can get 'better and better'.

Asked how he was settling in, he said: 'The transition has been just kind of normal and what I expected. It's going to take some time - I would be in pre-season now in Europe, so I'm getting my fitness back up quickly.

'The club is doing an amazing job to kind of progress me and not pushing me too quick, so I'm starting to feel better and better each day as training goes on.

'I'm enjoying it here. Everybody at the club has made me feel very welcome very quickly and I feel very settled straight away, and I think any player will tell you if they feel happy and settled, they start to play their best football.'
