With more than 40 years’ experience in looking after some of the world’s most endangered animals you would think that Blackpool Zoo’s Mike Woolham has seen it all when it comes to zoo keeping.

However, in a career first, he now lives on site in a converted air traffic control tower with a 37-acre garden that is home to more than 1000 animals!
