"BJP MP from Jharkhand Nishikant Dubey’s recent statement in LokSabha has stirred up a controversy. The video of his speech has gone viral on social media. During the debate on Price rise in LokSabha, Dubey said that we must thank Prime Minister Modi, for providing free ration and food to the poor and underprivileged. He was referring to the ration provided by the govt to 80 Crore poor during the pandemic under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana.
His statement however led to controversy with opposition slamming him for calling it “Free fund”.
