Some areas of the Great Barrier Reef are seeing the highest amount of coral recorded in 36 years of monitoring according to a new report. However, Doctor Paul Hardisty says that while coral cover is currently as good as it was in the 80's, the underlying conditions have changed and that further action is needed to restore the reef.
