Hong Kong volunteer rescue team formed to help search for missing hikers in country parks

With borders shut and travel restrictions in place during the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a surge in interest in hiking among Hong Kong residents seeking new activities. But the trend has also led to an increase in the number of accidents and hikers going missing. A group of volunteers has come together to form the group Voluntary Mountain Search Team (VMST) to help locate hikers who go missing.
