Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy on Friday said that the party was ‘ashamed’ of Partha Chatterjee following the former minister’s arrest in connection with the alleged teacher recruitment scam. This comes after Chatterjee, who was stripped of party and ministerial duties on Thursday, claimed he was a victim of a conspiracy. The ruling Trinamool Congress, however, asserted that he alone was responsible for his fate, seemingly shrugging off responsibility for Chatterjee. Watch the full report here.
