The Enforcement Directorate raided the fourth apartment of Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of former Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee, a day after recovering nearly Rs 27 crore in cash and gold from Mukherjee’s other residence. Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Partha Chatterjee on Thursday was removed from the Bengal ministry following his arrest in the Bengal teacher recruitment scam case. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Chatterjee has been removed from the party as well. Watch the full report here.
