The 2022 Commonwealth Games get underway in Birmingham

Sport - and the twenty-second Commonwealth Games are finally underway. The opening ceremony took place on Thursday evening in the English city of Birmingham - and Friday will see the sporting events commence. It's being described as the biggest Commonwealth Games of all time - as the BBC's Tim Allman explains.
