WHO does not recommend mass vaccination for monkeypox at this point

During a press conference in Geneva, WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says "at this time we don't recommend mass vaccination against monkeypox", but recommends target vaccination. Dr. Rosamund Lewis, WHO's Technical lead for monkeypox, adds that "at the moment, the people who are most at risk at this time are men who have sex with men in most countries in the world".
