Opposition's Demand For Discussion Over Inflation, GST Turned Down Again, Ruckus Ensues

Rajya Sabha proceedings were adjourned on Monday for about 45 minutes as opposition parties, including the Congress and TMC, held vociferous protests in the House seeking a discussion on rising prices of essential commodities. As the House met at 2 pm, opposition parties insisted on suspension of scheduled business and taking up of discussion on inflation.
