As Salim and Jason continue to explore the mysterious city, they discover the creatures hunting them down were the victim of a vampiric parasite which turns them into vampires. They are reunited with the others after escaping from the awakening vampires and find themselves in a star chamber.
Rachel becomes overwhelm by the vampiric alien parasite insider her as she reveals through a hallucination that the creatures were aliens that crash landed on Earth. Afterward, she sacrifices herself to prevent herself from turning into a vampire.
