Sabah assembly approves pay rise for CM, DCM, and assemblypersons

The Sabah State Assembly yesterday approved a motion to increase the salaries of the Chief Minister, state assemblypersons and other members of the state administration.
Emoluments for the governor of Sabah has also been increased.
With the approval, the Chief Minister's remuneration which was previously RM23,595 per month was increased to RM33,033; Deputy Chief Minister RM20,872.50 (RM29,221.50); Minister RM16,335 (RM22,869), ADUN RM7,950 (RM11,130).
