The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall have attended a garden party at Boconnoc House to mark the 70th anniversary of the Duke of Cornwall being the head of the Duchy of Cornwall. The UK is currently experiencing unprecedented high temperatures with a red warning for extreme heat issued by the country’s Met Office. On Monday, Cornwall recorded its highest ever temperature, with the town of Bude reaching 34.2C. In a speech, Prince Charles said: “As I have tried to indicate for quite some time, the climate crisis really is a genuine emergency and tackling it is utterly essential - for Cornwall, the country and the rest of the world."
