Alcohol ban to be lifted across remote NT Aboriginal communities

Remote Northern Territory residents across dozens of Aboriginal communities and homelands will be allowed to drink alcohol in their communities and homelands will be allowed to drink alcohol in their communities for the first time in 15 years as controversial intervention-era laws come to an end. And whole alcohol will return to some places, many are reverting back to alcohol bans that were in place well before the intervention.
