Sri Lankan security personnel were seen guarding the fleet of cars inside the Prime Minister office premises in Colombo on July 14. The PMO was stormed by furious protesters on July 13 after claims of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa fleeing the island nation surfaced. The country is facing a severe shortage of fuel and other essential supplies and is in the throes of its worst-ever economic crisis.
