Mat Kilau director: Maybe the film's message is too strong, some are feeling uneasy

Several NGOs led by Yusuf Azmi lodged a police report against the owner of the Crackhouse Comedy club at the Brickfields District Police Headquarters yesterday for allegedly insulting the Malay community.
Also present were local film director Syamsul Yusof and comedian Shahrol Shiro.
Speaking at a press conference, Syamsul said the issue should not have happened in a country that puts Islam as the "religion of the Federation".
He also said that his latest hit film Mat Kilau may have made certain people uneasy due to its nationalistic message.
