Even before the pandemic, Glenn Mariano already knew that he wanted to spend his days away from the city. In 2019, he and his family decided to live the simple life in Silang, Cavite and to build a bahay kubo, which they christened The Understory.

"We decided to live here because it's simple, it's quiet, stress-free, walang traffic, we get fresh air, at sobrang simple ng buhay dito," Glenn tells the OG team.
