What is Kawad ? Spiritually speaking, it is the union of the soul with Brahman. 'A' is the form of Brahman and 'Avara' is used for life . If you make a treaty of inferiors in 'A', you will become a Kawad.During this, devotees go on Kanwar Yatra to fulfill their wishes and offer water to Bholenath.
