LAS VEGAS, NV -- Bobby Manning caught up with Aaron Nesmith who played his first game for the Pacers on Tuesday. Nesmith told reporters he was on the golf course when he got the call that he was traded and wasn’t expecting it at all. He’s excited about the opportunity for a fresh start in Indy.

"I was completely caught off guard," Nesmith said after his Pacers Summer League debut on Tuesday. "I was playing pretty decent and I got the phone call, messed my day up. I only played one more hole."

Nesmith had been traded alongside Daniel Theis and three other players for Malcolm Brogdon.
