UK: 44 Ministers and Aides Quit Over Boris Johnson’s Handling of Chris Pincher Row

The Boris Johnson government is facing a crisis of resignations over the UK prime minister’s handling of MP Chris Pincher’s case. A total of 44 people – ministers, and private secretaries have resigned from the government. The deluge of resignations hit Johnson after he admitted on BBC that he should not have appointed Chris Pincher in a position of power after knowing that he had complaints of sexual misconduct against him. Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid were the first to set the ball rolling with their resignations from Boris Johnson’s cabinet.
