Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob did not sign an agreement with Perikatan Nasional on cabinet positions, according to Umno information chief Shahril Hamdan

Ismail Sabri and Shahril both sit in the Umno supreme council.

Shahril said that if there was such a deal, he questioned why its existence was only being made public now.

Speaking to Utusan Malaysia, he said he considered talks about such a deal as a piece of fiction authored by desperate people.
